The Lost Lands are currently not active on UOF. There has been past discussions of opening it up upon reaching a certain consistent player base.

Nice to see a fellow Minnesotan! Love your vendor house. Did stop by to check out the 20 EQ Shadow Plate Gorget and it looks like it is normal quality versus exceptional. Just wanted to give you a heads up as I know I have a hard time keeping track of all of my BODs even with using...
It's my wife and I's anniversary today and I was feeling somewhat charitable. ;)
I completely understand the sentiment, considering there is probably at least one "Why can't I be a ninja?" or "why can't I be an elf?" post every week in one forum or another. If OP hadn't mentioned this was...
What Greed is trying to say is that the Ninja and Samurai professions were not available during the era that UOF is primarily based on. These professions were added in the expansion "Samurai Empire" which was released in late 2004. The basic rule set and primary features of UOF is the...
Pretty awesome. In my own UOAM, I have something similar but for only the area within 6 screens of my houses. Use it primarily for when I am bored and want to rustle up some valorite elementals with a gargoyle pickaxe.
Your fellow resee was in possession of an ethereal mount. These are available on the donation vendor or sometimes sold by other players for gold. When not mounted, the ethereal is a statute in your pack.
All rune books are blessed. Just make sure you keep it in your main pack.

If you are using razor, make sure you uncheck the Auto Search New Containers on the Display/Counters Tab. Always hilarious when you pick up a box/bag of the ground and there is a car bomb inside, but not when you are trying to transfer a known insta-death box, let alone 50 of them, from one...
I had a similar issue that my tinker was on the same account as my picker but different character. I went from 92 to GM in about 4 hours which included trapping about 400 boxes, 50 at a time, and then recalling into a dungeon. Definitely a little time consuming, but easy gains.

Good question. If I am provo-ing correctly, I shouldn't be taking enough damage on a regular basis to require the healing skill AND need the magery for back up heals. I guess I like the convenience of being able to heal on the run and not having to disarm to heal. I may think about this a bit...
I always read these threads and wonder if I am doing it right...
I roll as follows:
100 Archery
100 Tactics
100 Anatomy
100 Magery
100 Provocation
100 Music
100 Healing
100 STR/60 DEX/65 INT
A little higher INT to be able to cast the occasional EV, Daemon Meat Shield, or Gate, with a greater...
Heh. Hadn't played in a few weeks and you would be correct, I don't have a complete LBOD for a Gold Runic. I do have many parts though. You would think with the 1,000 or so BODS I picked up in the past 12 months I would be closer to a 120 or some kind of cool runic. Negative, but I have...
Agreed with the above, just a whole lot of picking to do. I see folks recalling in to pick just certain chests, but it seemed like I still got a 0.1 here and there off random chests. My method was to just walk the dungeon and pick every fucking thing in sight that was pickable and recall out...
I would harvest cotton and flax as well as wool to get the most cloth as quick as possible. As for respawning of wool on sheep, I have never noticed an appreciable difference in the respawn rate of letting it grow back or just killing them off.

Well, apparently they think it is a good idea to lock their door now. :)
By the way, this is pure gold that you got killed by a snake that was also stuck on the same tile. Me thinks perhaps the owner had banned the snake as well?
Started playing UO in late 1997 on Napa Valley. My brother and his buddies had set up a few houses in the east part of Chaos Valley, across from the shrine, and near where the mining pass is. Now this is before you could change locks or secure chests in houses, so you can probably see where...
Not as lucrative, but you can always gate them to your house or lure them into the woods and kill them. Only bad thing is the same guy that would have paid 500 to 800 for the escort only has 250 gps on his corpse. WTH?
