Can I get staff to build me a house please? I would like a nice path outside my house, leading to yew bank which only I can walk on *sorry everyone else, you will have to teleport over it, I would like a fountain outside with lovely flowers around it and a few swamp tiles so I can plant green thorns. I would also like it so only I can recall within two tiles of my house, would like an ankh so I can resurrect, my own personal moongate so I can travel to all cities quickly, my own personal moongate for dungeons and a room underneath which spawns two balrons and two ancient wyrms every five seconds after they die *would give me the incentive to create a bard*.

One core reason why I'm not staff is because I don't tolerate anything that isn't earned. If @Darkarna or anyone came to me with a legit reason, hard work, and proof of work without macroing afk I'd reward them in some fashion.
To state it officially: Yes I was denied the Event Master position for various reasons stated by staff. Am I happy about it? Of course not. Why do I still play here? I shouldn't but I have a community that loves to be around me. I'm here for them.

Providing your services for the community as non staff is a very noble and selfless act. I still think you would have made a great event manager but alas, t'was not to be unfortunately. The way I see it is quite simple, the quality which you could potentially bring to the table is being ignored because of petty reasons which players here were envious and toxic enough to plaster over the forums. The worst type of regret is the kind that could have been avoided if a single chance was given.

If you are accusing me of not working for the island, or doing some sort of against the rules afk thing you don't know me like I thought you did.
I got the island at a discount (about 58 mil) because I had been a stand up guy and tried to help the winner in a time of need, and because I was going to help him run cool shit on the island. Unfortunately he started playing another game, and some other shit went down. All before he got the island finished.
Anyways, think what you want, I put a ton of work into this island.
