Q) Why do I still play UO? A) PKs

The thing is, not all people can choose when they log on to play the game. Jobs, school, kids, etc. only allows you to play when you have the free time to do so. My point is that this is the reason why u don't see too many big blue groups together.

This applies to EQMS as well -- none of us are the kind of powergamers that are on for 20hours a day as we are old and our pubes are gray.

50k for a head offering one time relief for stat? Or 50k for a new char that can be used over and over and over again.

Yeah, that's a real tough call.

Maybe instead of taking gold from people for them to join, you should be giving some back instead.

We supply our members with PVP stock(potions, regs, pouches, scrolls, armor, weps etc)... we also help members coming back from other shards who dont have chars get started up and help members with $ to try to buy their heads back but 50k is not chump change for anyone in EQMS.

Lord Gluttony has never been rich in gold rather rich in friends.

So because people decide to play reds they dont have lives outside of uo? So only people who play blues have kids, jobs, school? Great logic.

Except if you want to use the 50k for a new char it means you can longer keep playing that night you already alotted freetime for UO.

Currently the name of the game is come back on an alt when you die. Chars are cheap and easy to make here so no one has an excuse not to.

Exceptttttt here we have players saying "boo hoo not everyone is rich like u" when the reality is you don't need to be rich to play that way.

Lex is offering solid advice based on the current state of the game. He's not saying he wants it to be that way. He's saying hey guy, don't be an idiot. You can do this big fella. Just hop on your alt like a big boy.

9-21 chars across three accts. Don't tell me anybody gets truly knocked out of the game for 48hrs.

It costs 50k and takes 10-15hrs to make a 7x mage. If you'd rather stay "out of the game for 48hrs" than make another mage, then get the fuck out and stay the fuck out because you're one can short of a six pack. You should have never been able to get that many counts in the first place.

You fail to understand, it's not that I am dying. I rarely die to reds anymore, I'm way past that.

It's not that the server is dying either. The server is doing just fine.

I'm trying to help people learn that a balance needs to be struck in order to keep things afloat. It's for the new guys, the up and comers, and for the vets too. We want to continue to have a healthy community to play this game with for a long time to come.

You must be new to UO, it's O.K. I forgive you.

Here, I found a better one. This one is illustrated, because you probably are accustomed to doing all of your learning through books aimed at 4-6 year olds. And it appears to be from a religious website too, so it fits the EQMS biblical theme.
