wasn't this supposed to happen like a month ago..?

Yes it was going to be a move to Seattle i'm not sure exactly why they didn't go through with it. I think it would be a good idea because this server does not seem to have a lot of players from the west, Japan, Hawaii, or South America because of their high ping. I think its time to get a legit server, although it is summer UOF player base is still high and active(servers can be pretty dead this time of year). UOG was a shit show but that server is legit, it is able to hand a ton of players online and has low ping.

Server move wouldnt help with DDOS... its an inevitability with popular games(even shit like LoL and CS:GO are constantly DDOSd).

As for west coast server -- EURO players make up the vast majority of non NA players.

League doesn't get DDOS'D very often, just saying, but yep not a lot we can do.

this Uo is way better then the old UO it was down all the time and you were paying for it $19.95 a month to play a down system you would be lucky to get 3 hours in the Old UO

Is it possible for server admins to track who is doing the DDOS and get someone near them their physical address? I know that if they are within 100 miles of me if you guarantee that $1000 dollars gets deposited in my bank account I can guarantee that the DDOS stops if you get me that persons address. You could mail it to me physically so their is no digital trail. I'm sure there are many psychopath UO players down to do just that. Just sayin......

Generally speaking... No they can't track it, and go sit down.

That's because their servers are always down anyway/client issues/bugsplat errors after champ select. Theres enough things that will prevent you from being able to play LoL without the help of a DDOS lolz

Must suck for people that have those issues, though they do happen I only see it happen rarely. <shrugs>

Quoted so this can be given a second thought.

I'll pitch in $100 towards the $1,000.

I like this man's dedication.

However, I have a feeling if DDOS'ers could be tracked, it would be easy to stop them (probably through legal means)
