there pll using 60+ for years to hold plots, ton of ppl macroing afk ingots/logs during eppy offline time, youngs with slayer armor farming high end stuff.
The risk of beeing banned seems very high.
Who decide if you killing a friend or a nomore friend or someone other thinks its your friend but he never was.
It's a great idea but factions need to be fixed before you could implement this sort of thing. 1. Statloss is broken af, i wish to renew my spirit, those necklaces and duel pit statloss removal need to be removed. The only way a factioner should be able to get out of stat is gem of empowerment or waiting out the stat loss time period. 2. Fix mount stam and make war horses valuable in faction pvp. Even though I'm against bolas, maybe something like a Lance http://www.uoguide.com/Lance would be better since you would have to be next to your enemy to dismount. 3. More silver per kill and give a higher chance of receiving a faction item. 4. Faction points/Guild leader board on the uof website similar to the one on uoforever.
5. Bring back the pvp channel.

Once again you feel the need to spew verbal diarrhea. You can't overhaul a pvp system that's 20 years old, that's why people still play here. Get back to the fairies mate they're calling you.Eh? If the 'old' mate wanted a PVM / Trammel server, then permanent stat-loss would have already been implemented. There would also be one account per player, safe dungeons and obviously Felucia wouldn't exist here. I would agree with mount-stam loss if it weren't for large scale guilds which in essence, does allow, be it remote, a chance to get away. I think it requires a little more than just adding incentives to end-game PVP mechanics, but a re-haul regarding a lot of areas PVP orientated, which will most likely not happen because of the current stage of the server itself. All I am saying is, be careful how you dedicate your post towards the people who run this place, because next, we might find ourselves faced with much harsher PK penalties which obviously, would cause folks to leave while shrivelling up the rest of the red PVP community because of dehydration *AKA Crying*.

I guess someone forgot to water you as you grew up. Folks were quick to judge my 'supposed' passive-aggressiveness and yet, here you are being completely direct towards your displeasure of how things are run. Simple really, create your own shard with your own rules and regulations and then you can live free in knowing that you will not have to adhere to anything else outside of your own little bubble.
There have been more incentives regarding PVP on this server compared to many others, I feel that many mechanics were borrowed from other shards *who doesn't do this in this era* but there is certainly room for improvement which, will either be added or not, it is completely up-to the discretion of Shane really. I mean, you mention lances as an alternative to bolas, how do you think this will pan out if there was a method to slow or dismount players when the modern way of playing Ultima Online is all about mass warfare? Group fighting is fine if you are fighting groups equal to your size, if you intend to focus on smaller groups when in a large group, you are just asking for trouble and the complaints bin will just fill up *proven time and time again*.
No offence, but there is a lot of things that could be over-hauled if the need be, I only found out the other day that a simple bit of code would be all that is needed to fix NPC's seeing through walls, so when a thief or someone commits a criminal act, the NPC requires line of sight to call guards which means, he/she won't be able to see through walls. Kingdoms when it is finally released will have a ton of stuff that deals specifically with PVP, if it wasn't possible to overhaul a system, then how do you think Kingdoms will work? I mean, I hear there will be siege weapons and such, if true, did they just appear out of nowhere or, were they coded to work in a specific way?
I'd suggest educating yourself a little more before you try and insult someone, cause honestly, you failed in a catastrophic way pretty much like you do on a regular basis around here.

More PVP incentives than any other shard?
Let's look at some of them....
1. Sigils worthless -- they used to have bonuses but they were all removed
2. Warhorses worthless -- who needs a warhorse when you cant be bolad and theres no mount fatigue
3. Faction Statloss worthless -- who cares if you die in a faction battle, theres numerous ways to removed faction stat instantly
4. Faction loyalty broken -- you can be in multiple factions at same time
5. Point of bloodshood broken -- this does absolutely nothing
6. Faction champ scroll removed -- used to promote consensual PVP at champs, removed with no replacement
7. PVP shit talk discouraged -- cant even talk shit over PVP anymore
UOF has a large population and a very robust PVE system but Im not sure why some people are defending its PVP system as being anywhere near it in terms of depth.
