Yeah this definitely got out of control , but with the other forum that i frequent i'm kinda used to see this.

I think the problem is rants and flames was shut down because it was spilling into general conversations but now with gone people still can't help but rant when stuck at work or somewhere they can't play and now they have no where to go with it. I understand Shane wanting us to be better than that but reality is this is a game with pvp and trash talk is actually not only a fun but necessary aspect of the game to create that drive to play. The Rants forum is the best place for that type of banter and without it people will be derailing threads all over. Unfortunately although we may all be grown ups we certainly haven't all grown up.

Pretty much this. Raged got mocked really hard by everyone and now just pops in threads to stir shit up like an idiot.

Personally I think this thread was pretty bad from the beginning (the case with 99% of idoc idea threads lately), so I don't feel bad dumping on raged when he comes in with:

I have a crappy car (lol)
I'm IRL poor (lol)
Partial custody of my kids (lol)
I do drugs (ok that's true ;) )

The kid is flailing around in his own shit already, why not toss a couple more logs into the mix n have a giggle?
