But thing is following:
everyone can time it this ways:

entering idoc + add 4h: 1min -4h waiting
entering demolition: ~ 1minute
last minute is the important part

i understand the demand of timing good idocs and you still can time it up to the 4h with current system.
if everyone want keep it, why dont make it this way:
keep the system but change demolition time from 1min to 20min-1h30min random something like that
i think this would help both sides.
just a suggestion...

We can and do time like u say but i dont wana sit and run demo for 4 hrs.... so i dont bother to idoc very much anymore. i like the sound of your demo idea thou i just cant sit around and wait for 4 hr demos its seriously high UO burn out material

Emphasis on a longer but a random demo timer has probably been the only good suggestion that has been made regarding IDOCs in months.

• Competing IDOC groups can time houses up and until the demolition timer.
• Anywhere from 10-30 minutes the house is guaranteed to drop.
• PvP ensures within a small window of time, which is far more realistic than 4 hour windows.
• Baddies continue to sit at IDOCs for 8 hours straight.
• I return from retirement to slam plots down before any of you nerds can.

IDOCs have always been a contentious topic on UOF, but right now the server is alienating an entire niche of players for 0 gain.

Yeah that's me from when I posted in the RL pics thread here. And I don't care what he does with it because I'm comfortable in my own skin. He probably just knows that he's a RL poseur and never stopped trying to be something he thinks other people like and hiding when he finds out that they don't like it.
