How to fix the exploited PVP aspect

UO was never designed to have teamspeak utilized in harmony with gameplay.
Squads roll together and call targets. You can do nothing about it.
Call target (get 4-8 EB/EXP)

Is there a mechanism that would allow gameplay, by default, to negate anything more than X number of spells hitting a target in a fraction of a second? Say, half a second? I'm not saying two spells can't hit a target at the same time, or even 3, but it's getting dumped on in precision fashion that just has you sitting back in your chair thinking "wtf can I do against that???" Even 100 scribe resist isn't enough.

Think about it for a moment. This would promote pvp in that you'd stand a chance. Anyone who isn't running, who stands to fight, just gets steamrolled. So what is the point? There is no chaos in battles in this game due to teamspeak. It's all coordinated spell attacks.

Truly lackluster. Boring in fact. UOF pvp is broken. The most fun I have is pvp 1v1 or 2v1, or truly disorganized gang fights.

the spell bombardments have to stop.

Well ya know, sometimes you're just going to die and there's nothing that can be done about it.

Coordinated teams with big numbers should win fights. If you want to fight big numbers, you will need big numbers. Use para fields, pets, choke points, spawn, houses etc to negate the numbers as much as you can.

Changing how spell damage works to make it so that one person can stand against four attackers would be terrible.

If I recall, OP is one of the biggest PVE alliances on the shard... numbers isnt his problem, his problem is organization(which is probably why he enjoys disorganized group fights).

@RAVE GL -- instead of trying to have PVP nerfed in a way that makes no sense, encourage your members to actually get on VOIP and play the game how its meant to be played in 2015.

The only way we can save PVP from dying on this server is by replacing explosion potions with exploding snowballs.

Rather than say you're correct, I'll simply nod at my monitor. Part of me misses old-school UO and this server is the closest I've seen to it. VOIP would be nice and they've started utilizing it more and more. People like myself however, only get to play at night and I have to keep an ear out for crying babies... (actual babies, not grown men who've lost their shit to a pk)

If you were any decent at pvp you'd know 1v1 on the field sucks big peepee here. Coordinated groups and sync drops is what makes this easy ass game somewhat difficult. Just learn to adapt. Stop playing a poopy dexxer. Learn to heal/sync correctly.

I played with OPs alliance for a bit when they were paying EQMS for protection. None of them got on VOIP, for whatever reason, so thats the main issue there. Trying to PVP without communicating in real time is ALWAYS going to put you at a severe disadvantage vs. others who are on comms.

Aside from that people must remember that some players have been PVPing for the past 10 years on freeshards while others havent PVPd in UO since 1999. If you are one of those who wasnt PVPd in a long time(or at all in the freeshard era) there are going to be things you need to learn to be able to "compete". Whether this be purple pots, targetting hotkeys, or having the correct templates -- there is going to be a skill gap between newbs and experienced players.

With that being said, it does not take very long to get decent at group fighting. EQMS prides itself on being a group that helps introduce new players to modern UO PVP and within a few trips to the field, many of these newbs are standing over the corpses of the so called "elite".

The zergs have to be answered with zergs. It sucks, but it's a reality. And it's happening right now!

The game is a lot different than it used to be that's for sure.
