I think youre mistaken...chain and MS spell damage is nerfed beyond use now, except for casting them on single targets. What people are asking for is for them to not have the damage increased but to have them not hurt your own team along with earthquake so these spells can actually be useful beyond just killing afk's in their house. It gives more options in PVP then just railing FS or EBs, its not OP(it wasnt on uoforever) and just created more viable playstyles for PVP.

Another note, we might actually see more templates than just scribe(which currently has no counter and is OP) in PVP if AoE changes are used... more diversity on the field = more fun PVP.

I fully disagree with that. You could summon a creature to soak damage, or spend 25 gold and buy 5 cats from the stable. These are two easy, and affordable, options that any group could do without having to amass a large squad. Just think outside the box.

It took me less than 2 seconds to think of a way to fight against field spells. Imagine if I actually gave a shit and thought about it for 30 seconds. HOLY SHIT IMAGINE WHAT I'D COME UP WITH IN A FULL MINUTE!!

Scribe won't be the goto template that everyone uses since AoE spells will go around it... so not EVERYONE will play either a scribe or a tamer.

allot of people play heal stun and alchy stun, scribe is just the goto template vs your 20man crew with preload FS so we use scribes.

Believe me if u would come fight us 4v7 we would not bother with scribes we would just pot ur newb asses down

I honestly can't tell if you are intentionally being dense or just don't understand my example. If you actually don't understand my example, good. I felt kind of bad giving out tips that would help fight people spamming AOE spells, but thank god it went right over your head.

Well since SL cried about pet speed i guess we really would not need mounts we could just roll around in our 5-6 man group each with 5 bears and no mounts since we will have to disable always run so these pets keep up.

I think it would be cool if we added more diversity to aoe spells,it would improve the pvp + base defending too. Faction bolas & wands when we are ready. I know @Adam was ready to implement this months ago but it was flamed down.

If they implement bolas/wands you can't have it to where they explode if you attack blues >_< IE faction weapons shouldn't either

yea thats kind of lame you have to control nujel'm sigil just to be able to use a bless weapon on anyone for 3 days.

I think the 6 hours defending+1k silver(100k)+Runic charge on hammer(175k-2mil depending on if its aggy,verite, or val) should let you use the weapon on anyone while its blessed for the 2 weeks like it was originally.

I believe that making changes would create more ways for people to play the game. More people joining factions to help fight in guarding bases and ability to help everyone in spawn areas
