I'm sure you know this, but you can secure a box at your feet in your house, put all your house gold in it, then gate macro to a "safe" bank, release the box and drag drop the box directly into your bank. Say deposit, and viola! Takes like 20 seconds. I do see your point as some sort of gold...

Yes, you need to increase fishing to 105, then once you do so, you may drop it and have an extra 5 points to your total cap. In order to get all 20pts, you'd need to eat a 105, 110, 115 and a 120 fishing, then raise your char to 120, then drop it. Hope that helps.
