How does the whole event start? I sometimes see that area filled with hundreds of monsters, then when no one kills them I guess they just disappear or something. But what triggers the initial spawn?

No prob. I have three tailors at 83, 85, 85 specifically for getting bods on a three hour timer. They seem to get the same bods as my gm tailor, who's on a 6 hour timer. I also have one at 70.1 and he gets tons of normal bods. The last seven have been normal at least, before that I wasn't...

There is definitely a difference between 65 and 85. I don't remember ever getting any exceptional bods at 65. And I don't think you can get bone or other bods you can't actually craft.
