do young players gain skills faster?

I just started here yesterday. I started a tamer and got to 62 fairly quickly but then decided to work on other skills. I got close to the 700 cap and my young status dropped off. When i went back to taming the skill gains were horrendous. just not sure if its because i got close to cap or lost my young status??

Are You able gm taming at young ?

Debatable, but in theory, yes. You would have to GM Taming as a young character, before you reached the skill point cap for a Young player or you had enough time before your Young player status expired.
