I have no clue what it does! I think it has to be used in recipes with the warrior dust. The shards drop off of Warlock and Akor in the Covetous expansion.

its used to make slayer armor, the demon dust and warrior dust i think decides the slayer property, you need the recipe for the armor though, and 120 smith and 120 tinkering
