WTB Slayer swords

Hey all,

I've spent about an hour last night around Yew in search of a vendor with some Slayer swords. I couldn't find any! Well I found very few, those few that had were outrageously priced. Most vendors are simply not stocked, which makes you wonder why they are there in the first place but that's another subject.

Anyways, if you know of a stocked vendor with decent swords and not charging an arm and a leg, let me know, please!!

Makes me wonder if I shouldn't buy iron ingots and go try my hand at making them... don't need GM blacksmith to get slayers, right? Just need to be at the BS area in Britain?

I did that exact thing. It takes a good bit of iron to get going but easily saved the time I spent running around digging through slayer bows trying to find katanas lol.

What do you need? Etc mall has some stocked. I'll be making a new batch of katanas over the next few days too

Could use a couple of deamon dismissal for starters... I'm getting started on my dexxer so I'll eventually need at least "one of each". Lol

I'm not looking for the super rare repond/vanq/supremely accurate or anything. Just plain "exceptional" slayers will do fine.

I'm pretty sure I have a rune for ETC mall, I'll go check it out tonight.

I've got about 20 repond katana's up on my vendor at Santa's shop in Yew. I upped the price a bit though, sold the last batch faster than I was hoping :/

However, yeah if you have a smith and the ingots, these can be easily crafted with some luck. I think I get maybe 1-2 per 2k ingots

1-2 repond per 2k ingots or 1-2 slayers of any type per 2k ingots?

I just ran through 1500 ingots making katanas. Had a success rate of making slayers at about 2%. I have following for sale:
Super Slayers- Ele Ban, Arachnid Doom, Fey, and Reptilian Death.
Minors- ogre, snake, spider, lizard man, ophidian, scorpion, terathan and earth shatter.

If you smelt all failures you can craft 500 katanas per 1k ingots. At a max success rate of 2.5% (120 skill "advertised rate") that is roughly 12 slayers per 1k ingots. There are 27 different slayers. You might be able to make a specific slayer with 50 ingots or you may burn through 5k and still not get the one you want. If you want a specific one then you should just buy it....
