I think it's for the new "botanist quest". Starts in Cove. Fey had posted about it.

It's for Botonist Quest. Go see Botonist in Cove, click the NPC and select talk. They will give you an empty jar that needs 10 fertile dirt and 5 worms. You double click the jar and it puts worms / dirt from bag inside.
Once it's full you drop it on the Botonist NPC in Cove and you get a plant seed.
