Ah, no wonder there is an influx of newbs macroing begging on the dono vendors.

You guys are doing it all wrong anyway, you have to use begging on the raffles NPC. There is a high chance you will disappoint @a magical man and he will post a famous thread about it.

While you're at it, can you update the pvp balance too? Cuz this clearly makes the mage overpowered..

Edit: Ok update dexxers since its supposedly not for pvp....but whats to stop a mage from casting on a nearby bird to gain his mana back? And the true assassin get no love with 300 points in hiding, stealth, and poison. smh

So you're saying that a Mage in the middle of pvp is going to gain advantage by casting spells on mobs for a small mana regen? Not sure I see any Mage having the time or mana to do that in the heat of battle.

Hiding is well hiding. Stealth is super powerful on UOF. And poisoning on a dexxor is pretty darn good. What's broke here?

Nothing is broken with the standalone skills but the assassin as a whole. UO has always had stealth assassins but its just not viable here. If an assassin pops out to surprise attack, in most cases he will get his brains bashed in. It's why no one plays the assassin and it has always been my favorite. Was the very first char I made when I came here and the one I never even play. And yeah I do think a mage would make time to magic arrow a nearby mongbat to get mana boost.

I get that every shard is different but I just miss the assassin template. I also think that if we had assassins on the server that it would allow cut down on the zerging some. But let's face it, if you invest 300 points in hiding, stealth, and poison, you don't have much room to do much.

You still have a lot of room after those three. But I think a special skill for players who opt for hide, stealth, poison, and track could be justified. They'd only have room for resist or heal but not both. So no matter what, they're going to be easier to kill once they're visible. They'd also have to sacrifice alchemy unless they opted out of both resist and healing, that would make it harder for them to get the job done while in pursuit.

Btw, begging the new motm vendor doesn't work.

I Made 3 mil as an UOF newbie by selling the blood red ethy Horse i got from begging the dono vendor. It was definitely a good way to start on a new server.
I think you have to be [young] to get special hues tho. Otherwise only normal ethys and cbd
