I do not know how the staff of the UO Forever is to punish by afk.
I was by mining and looking FaceBook
5 in 5 minutes I'm always looking at the UO screen.
result when I go back to the UO screen'm jail. With a warning on the screen that jail was by AFK
act saw patience. the guy does not test to know if the guy ta afk or not and already out punishing ..
discourages rather keep playing here ..
I am Brazilian and I really wanted to stay here. but only see the part of freshness adiministração!
if you do not want to AFK. place a system to prevent this. instead of punishing leave without knowing if the guy ta AFK or not

Funny coming from a guy named ScripterWonka. I saw you mining right by the place I was mining. The Seer who checked on you also checked on me. I can confirm you did not respond.

Do your mining while on the game screen, you know the rules.

They want the players stay looking at the UO screen for 24 hours ???

Do the following when you punish someone.
send an alert. the player does not respond the alarm in x minutes you apply jail ..

If you had flipped over to your Facebook screen while your mining macro was running, you were unattended resource gathering, and while it was only a few minutes, you still got caught. You can AFK ALMOST everything except the following:
Events Points
Meta Exp
Resources
(maybe 1 or 2 others)

Already played on several servers.
and all allow use of macros. they do however test to see if you are afk.

that dictatorship is this ??

I do not say one HI to players if I do not like.
even if it is the number one sycophant of staff.

They usually attempt to talk to you, and will give a little time to respond - if the person on your screen is highlighted yellow when you mouse over them, respond, say hi, do something.

Then buy yourself some soap on a rope, don't want to be dropping that while jailed.

when u take jail because at the time that appears gm you do not respond right away.

sometimes u takes a few minutes to answer.

If you're gathering resources or script taming then you have to paying attention at all times. If you're looking at fb or watching YouTube for 5 minutes or hell even 5 seconds then you are breaking the rules.

I been playing here like a week or so. It's not hard. Ive been macroing basically the whole time and not one problem, cept the occasional death. I just dont macro anything that can effect anyone but me. Macroing ore, lumber, etc, against the rules because it effects economy. Just dont do that. Macro anything but gathering things, making things.. thats about it.

From my experience, and what I've seen on the forums in the past. The staff generally stands next to you for about 2-3 minutes. plenty of time to type "aeopgfkef"

I'd just look at the screen before the jail.

I was pro facebook when I come back to screen jail.

It's impossible to play on a server that hardly allows macro and requires the player to stay with open UO screen all the time.


this is ridiculous.

Gameplay Rules:
  • Any macroing resources while away from the keyboard is a bannable offense.
  • If your actions look more automatic than manual while resource gathering, we will take action. This includes rail mining, auto mining/smelting/house dropping and or automated runebook traveling and banking.
  • USING THE SKILL ANIMAL TAMING unnatended is prohibited and bannable. Any sort of "scripting" using this skillset will be punishable.
  • Using a house to AFK Macro resources (ingots, wool etc.) Will result in the house being removed and the player removed from the game. Regardless of who owns the house, it is seen as proceeds of "against the rules" activity..
  • Do not block any NPC's or Monsters of any type in your home for any reason
  • Do not use immovable OR movable items(kegs, crates, boxes, chests, doors, walls etc..) to block or otherwise trap players in or around your house or any and all areas which include dungeon areas or antrances. Players must have a clear path out by some means, always. You may block that path with your characters or pets however, and may gate block within these rules using your own GATES. Again, blocking enrances of dungeons, dungeon levels, or any other specific location using any and all movable or immovable items is NOT ALLOWED.
  • Users may not trap down other users with locked down boxes in game.
  • Players MAY NOT block off dungeons, dungeon entries or any situation with (any) items which would lead any player/ghost to be stuck and unable to escape. Excessive scamming is prohibited
  • SCAMMING Donation Items, or Donation Coins is prohibited. ANYONE found abusing this rule will face potential banning.
  • We do not condone excessive racism on Ultima Online Forever. These will be handled on a case by case basis and will have strict consequences.
  • AFK macroing skills on this shard with the exception of resource gathering skills and animal taming is legal.

In order to protect the integrity of our economy it is illegal to resource-gather while afk. There are zero exceptions to this, and you must be somehow responsive to staff if they appear to you.
