begging to get gold... chances for dono coins off the vendors + begging carl's soul in the middle of the hedge maze > PVM all day every day.. gotta be a bit patient but it's definitely worth the effort.
i run:
100 begging
100 hiding
100 item identification (increases the chance to actually recieve something by 10%)
100 magery
100 meditation
100 tracking
100 detect hidden (to reveal special npcs)

Yeah magery is just too versatile IMO. I would probably scrap healing and keep hiding?

idk why, but i lol'ed at this.

those are both pretty much perfect tbh. it's all about playstyle.. while you have mobs provo'ed, you can hide and not break it.
i have 2 bards.

magery
meditaion
eval
hiding

..and for the last skill, i have anatomy. but i switch between hiding and anatomy every now and then.
and the pvp template is a good one. i have a few heal mages myself.
you could also do a scribe/stun (trade inscription for healing)
or alchy stun (alchemy for healing)
edit: i have both bards at 120.. but i only went that far for the title. you can pretty much provo anything at 115.

I played with the idea of a scribe/alchy macer with no resist. He is unfinished...lol
