What is the benefit for 100+ tinkering?

I saw the thread about legendary crafting updates and understand it to be a system for crafting housing additions.

What other benefits are there for 120 tinkering?

I presume you could make more durable tools, more lethal traps, etc. Is there any other reason to take tinkering to 120?

What they said ^^ Only reason right now to have above GM tinkering is for legendary crafting.

All trolls.

But in addition to legendary crafting, there is also the benefit of creating ship addons/upgrades and have a higher chance at creating exceptional items (or creating them at all).
