Hello, i have just returned from a 4 month break on UOForever and i am proud to say i am BACK!!!!. I am just trying to get wealthy again and "bank" but i just can't seem to do it. I notice a lot of people have quit but at the same time i am seeing a lot of people return and the server start to repopulate again for the winter :). I am asking in this thread what can i make crafting wise or create like bulk ingots arrows etc.. to make big bucks like old times... because u can't just buy and resell like old times... i mean i can't even sell costumes 30k each....! But yeah comments would be much appreciated and just share your thought below and i will take them into consideration and anyone else who is in my situation will be glad to see suggestions aswell. Thanks for the cooperation and thanks for your time :)

Also keep in mind Costumes were a massive handout last year and can only be worn 1 day of the year.
They aren't worth anything.

Legendary crafting items would sell hugely.

Just to clarify that is only last years costumes , not the new costumes from this years Halloween event correct ?

That is correct but it will probably be correct for n ext year too, i mean the 2014 costumes in 2015 will be worthless aswell.. also thanks for the comments Adam and Shane, but i honestly am not interested in the Asylum i mean i like it but the teleporting things with *I bite your neck* just pisses me off lol..

I am more of asking of what items i can get from mobs and stuff that are worth some $$ and are regs HOT right now, basic everyday needs on Ultima Online that everyone wants right now that is easy to be obtained.. unlike the Meta Eggs, i mean i WOULD LOVE TO OWN one but it just aint gonna happen anytime soon for me..

Thanks Dwayne, do you know what monsters drop taming SS and can u maybe give me a link to statistics of monster drops for skill scrolls? Thanks, appreciate the comment

If it involves taming (skill scrolls, power scrolls, eggs, relics) it is super hot. If it does not involve taming it is ice cold. People have egg and relic fever, but there do not seem to be many and the ones that are being offered for sell were leveled already and you will need 20 mil minimum to have a shot at it.

Why would they be worthless 2014 costume are rare finds 2013 costumes were handed out to everyone who logged in ?

Because u can only use the 2013 costumes ONE DAY, ON HALLOWEEN and im betting in 2015 the 2014 costumes will only be ONE DAY too.

FYI: Costumes are one of the few things that I really really like -- other than that I am not really into pixels. The nerf to them made me sad. Actually the initial nerf to them last year didn't sit so well with me either. It was not specified during the handout that they would not be good all year long. But it is what you say it is.

Taming SS are usually found on hard mobs, or perhaps the chances of getting them there is higher - Balrons, Ancient liches, Shadow Wyrms, and their paragons.

Currently there is a halloween week going on, where certain mobs are either purple or orange - they are tougher and have a chance at dropping coloured chests - those are hot right now.

As for supplies:

- Arrows
- Bulk Regs
- Stuff from new wood (boxes, bows etc) there is new wood type on the shard


And other stuff im too lazy to type out, but that should get you started.

First re read Shanes post and then Re Read mine .. Im pretty sure he is talking exclusively about the 2013 costumes .. there is a huge difference between the two.
2014 costumes are RARE loot from Rare spawn special paragons . These are NOT easy to get, like just go out and get one .
2013 costumes were freebie hand outs that every character on every account server wide received free of charge just for logging in ..
Do you not see the difference . Further more the new costumes are still usable and no mention has been made that they would be disabled. However even if they were disabled and only usable in seasonal context like Christmas trees etc they are still relatively rare. and should NOT be confused with the 2013 costumes ..
And to top it all off my op in this thread was directed at @Shane in effort to confirm what im saying it was a question not a statement ..

That being said if you feel they are worth less I will gladly buy all of your 2014 costumes from you for 2k each and ill even tip you a bonus 1k for each costume just because im a happy guy

This is actually not entirely true.

The 2013 Halloween handouts were two part: 1) a Candy bag and 2) a Costume

Everyone who logged in (per account) was guaranteed one (1) Candy bag but nothing else. There were folks who received multiple candy bags and multiple costumes. There were others that received nothing but a candy bag. I for one only receive a single candy bag per account (so two).

This means that although many costumes were handed out, not everyone got one.
