Way way WAY more types of aesthetic relics

Including different variants of the same type of relic, and relics that are class specific. And more aesthetic slots for them!

Warning: I know my examples might seem like I'm trying to turn UOF into the Disneyland parade, but they're just a bunch of examples and ideas in case something sticks. I also think these relics should be very/extremely rare, or costly if some are sold via dono or gold sink.

Relics that grant persistent effects. Rogue's can have a wispy fog or smoke about them, maybe something small like a persistent different hued fizzle animation. Defense talisman can have a relic that changes the color of their shield and/or weapon.

Auras.
An aura can be always persistent, and/or an aura that displays only when a relic ability is off cooldown and ready.

ALTERNATE ANIMATION for spells, skills, and abilities. An electric blue Molten Breath. Icy blue e-bolt for meta mages. Black bolts being fired from rogue crossbows. Alternate animation for striking with a slayer weapon. Pink phase shift. A sparkle on phase shift, or a sparkle on quench, or a relic that turns a successful slayer armor damage reduction to more than just that small white flash.

Removing them would destroy them. Some can be bought off dono for high prices, some can be super rare or one-of-a-kind drops (unbeknownst to the players until enough time passes that a 2nd one isn't being found). With the amount of possibilities, the mystery of them will be exciting when finding a new one.. though they should maybe have some minor descriptions at least (like effect hue color).

More monster death animation relics. Relics that add or change sound effects.

Relics that add something to your paperdoll.

Uncontrollable, 0 follower count familiars that follow the player, like a wisp. These familiars could come with affects to an animation.

I love the idea of aesthetic relics.. the alternate effects that Dota2 has implemented through their cosmetic items is hugely desired by its player base, as it refreshes older animations to something new and slightly more grandiose... at a price.

I don't know what's possible or not within the code, but there's great potential here! Really, hundreds or even thousands of possibilities.. it's just finding the ones that fit the theme of the shard.

The main concern with passive ongoing ones would be lag. If they are subtle like the bloody jewelry it would be fine. You could do different elements and when other relics proc it causes an element animation. Can do dark/shadow and light ones too.

Yeah. I think most expect it to be added to the long list of suggestions. If someone gets the time to develop some we would be very grateful.

energy bolt animation is in SERIOUS need of a face lift.

A flying V is cool in rock n roll.

Is there only one Aesthetic relic in game. The Bloody one from the silver vendor is the only one I know of, is there others. If not I would like this subject revisited, please. Thank you.

Yeah still only bloody. Kinda lends itself to the idea of the zerker Tali so another blood effect would be kinda redundant.

A shadow aura for the rogue Tali would be tight.

Maybe something cool for defense Tali? Some sort of shielding aura?

Couple neat spell effects for mage Tali?

i saw GM Tony use the coolest aura effect that was like a spiked halo and i want it. please. hahaha.
