Visual Bug Pls Help

Hello i have an annoying Bug. i cant see some of NPCs . cant see anything on the opening window when i use a crafting item like Mortars as well as when i use moongates. i can click on arrows but i cant read and orient myself. im sending an example screenshot.

ok thx for the reply :D im trying out the stuff on ur link. im from germany as well. my uo client is so stupid. even tho my windows is in english half of the game is in german the other half is in english. and a lot of bugs

You mentioned the game is in German and English? Sounds like you might be using a different version of the client. Perhaps try downloading the latest version as Darkarna suggested. Also, I'd advise looking into getting started with UO Steam (or perhaps Sallos).

This problem pertains to your language files it seems. I have a friend that fixed this problem by:

1- set your PC settings to English
2- delete all non-english language files - (UO language files )

This is definitely from installing using a different language.
Re-install using english and it should work fine.

google mal nach Ultima Online auf Englisch stellen, normalerweise musst du so ne Zeile in die config Datei in deinem UO Folder einfügen.. Hab das Problem auch immer mal wieder mal, hab aber nicht wirklich ne Ahnung woran das liegen könnte - wenn du's endgültig rausfinde solltest, dann wäre ich sehr dankbar, wenn du dein Wissen teilen würdest! :) Vielleicht weiß @girana was?

@K A Z natürlich weiß ich das ich weiß alles.


1st Step:
delete Transerv.exe in your UO Folder
2nd Step:
Change UserLanguageCodeString=ENU* TranslationServer=off, TranslationServerAutomatic=off in your UO.CFG in your UO Folder
3rd Step:
There is a UO.CFG in every Folder of created Character located in your documents folder (C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\EA Games\Ultima Online Legacy\User Data\YOURACCOUNTNAME\Ultima Forever)
Change UserLanguageCodeString=ENU* TranslationServer=off, TranslationServerAutomatic=off, TranslationServerAutomaticTranslation=false, TranslationServerClickTranslation=off - i also changed the IP of TranslationServerIPAddress= to some random numbers, to make sure no connection is possible, whatever happens.



alternativer fix: Windows auf English stellen und UO neu installieren (das ist was ich gemacht habe !)


bei fragen einfach PM oder ambesten IRC Girana

Hab den Mist auch, aber komischer Weise funktioniert das hin und wieder, sau nervig :mad:
