UOF on apple computer?

Hi everyone I'm suggesting someone with an apple computer try UOF, but it doesn't seem the client works on that since the game is build for Windows... Is there any way to work around that or can apple computers simply not run UOF?

I run both Parallels and Bootcamp but I only switch to bootcamp for game that wouldn't run well in a VM ( i.e. SMITE ). It was worth the purchase for me because I simply prefer OSX over Windows and I often multi-task while playing UOF so having the ability to stay in OSX was worth the $40 for me.

At the same time this can be accomplished with WineBottler if you follow some of the numerous HOWTOs out there. But as kmotion mentioned if you don't mind switching into bootcamp when you want to play UOF that's an option too.
