UO Steam - Question about what engagement the UOF team has had with Steam devs

Hopefully we can keep this thread constructive. After the last debacle of accusations (some of them false) around UO Steam I was wondering if we could get a post from Alan on what engagement the UOF team has had with the Steam developers.

Also a post detailing what additional controls have been requested I think would help people understand what is needed to be implemented before we can get UO Steam back on this server.

Obviously it sucks that we are losing, hopefully temporarily, a much better tool but if there was some transparency around the process or at least around what the UOF team needs then I think this will go a long way towards satisfying the community in the interim. Also before I get flamed too bad I don't PvP at all and used UO Steam primarily for crafting. For that use alone UO Steam is much much better than Razor (I can accomplish in 150 lines what would take razor 900+).

Note I am not asking for any timelines or forecasts on when we can get Steam back as that is up to the Steam devs but I would like to know if there actually has been a specific feature restriction request this time.

I have had some good discussion with Kraz already. He has been very open to accommodating us which I appreciate very much, and I hope that everything works out so that we can fully support UOSteam in the future (it certainly seems feasible given my experience with Kraz to-date). The specific issues will be worked out between us and them, and not posted publicly.

And I shall leave it at that.
