Trouble Using shadow iron copper etc

how or when can i use dull copper shadow iron etc to make things? currently 85 mining 65 smithy

Have you tried changing the ore type in the blacksmithing menu? I believe the default is regular iron.
There should be something near the bottom left corner of the menu gump you can click on to change the ore type.

yes it says i dont know how to use that type ... maybe im still to low?

Yeah, you should gm blacksmith. I believe your mining skill only affects your ability to smelt the different ore types.

I think around 70 you can do dull copper and shadow isn't far behind. Your mining doesn't help smithing as far as skill level for the different types of ore.

I believe its every 5 levels after 65..

65 - Dull Copper
70 - Shadow
75 - Copper
80 - Bronze
85 - Gold
90 - Agapite
95 - Verite
100 - Valorite
