Treasure Hunting

So decoded a few easy maps, i go to the rune library aka, trin and went to spot #1 where the map shows, from what the radar shows its way different than the one on the tmap.
So my question is, how do i find the exact spot/location based off of tmap because the rune locations dont add up to the map

Use a sextant! When you get the coords from the webpage of treasure hunting spots, you go there through any Thunt library and most of the spots are marked at the same place the chest is burried but some of them you have to move 1 square.

I find the rune libraries lazy and they ruin the point of treasure hunting. You can use the sextant and look at your current coordinates to find treasure maps. Some people utilize UOAM (UO Auto Map) which I highly recommend. You can input the coordinates, mark the spot on the map and venture forth.

(Secret tip: Having the mining skill actually increases the distance in which you can dig up a treasure chest. The higher the mining skill, the larger distance around the exact point you can dig up the box)
