Trammel but not trammel

I have an idea.

Since so many Care Bears want statloss because they can't press 1 simple macro to recall or instant kill you with 2 7xgm pets I propose an idea.

How about 1k donation coins grants you access to a trammel dungeon for 24 hours. The dungeon should be pink and any blood splatters replaced with rainbows. Maybe have little creatures come out and emote hugs and kisses too. But the dungeon will have no pks. You can farm your mindless little ass all day if you want. If you don't want to be pked (which doesn't happen a lot anyway) you simply pay for the privilege. That'll keep the high paying trammel donators happy.

Ps I got pked last night for the first time in 2 weeks. I totally laughed as I was flipping clients. It resulted in a nice little battle between me and them... I got my revenge... Did I stat them? Nope, sold heads back for 1 gold. This is how it should be.

oh I got an idea,

lets make a 1 k dono item that takes you to Tram-fel, while here you can go to any dungeon and find lots of newbs and bards that you can kill. every time you kill one it cries, and if you rez kill them enough they rage quit and go to the forums and tell everyone how great of a PK you are.

if you decide you want a real fight you can pay to have a real PVPer fight you. and if you are about to lose 6 others will come on screen so you can claim it wasn't a fair fight (cause you never lose in a fair fight...). and all the NPCs will tell you how you are the BEST PVPER they have ever seen.

Seriously you Power tools need some new material, your tram spiel is so old...

Messremb you fail to push your 'all guard me' macro with your 7xgm tank pets then cry about pks.

Statloss or not I'll pk. Just saying it discourages pvp. I won't take risks in dungeons and will probably end up farming real newbs, not 7xgm meta pets and pvp zergs that come.

Doesn't take long to macro a swordsman back up. Most trams have downs and die to anything.

Imagine if one of our reds used a meta pet? They would already be nurfed. Ie look at denoz's pet. 120 wrestling and 140 magery and eval.... It's stupid in pvp... It hasn't been nurfed because he's one of the care bear rainbow club.

@Messremb - i saw you were a Companion at bank earlier, which to me means that you have nfi (although you have a good intent on helping newbs - fair game), but i've found in my UO experience that Companions are more newbish than the players they're trying to teach tbh.

First off you will never hear me complaining about PK. I have several reds, and I wouldn't play here if there were no PKs.

second, I do think that to many people here think PVP is killing bards, and that they should have no risk when doing so. which to me smells strongly of trammel. I want risk on my PKs, I want to feel that if I die it actually cost me something, much like those I kill. because there isn't that feeling here I hardly ever take my reds to dungeon, I prefer to stir things up around town, or any place I can find people looking for a fight.

thirdly, just cause I am a companion does not mean I have nfi, it means that I have a more broad idea in fact than you do. you only look at the game through your PK tinted glasses. I try to take in all the game has to offer and want to see changes that will help everyone. PKing is fun and I would never want it removed, but there needs to be some risk, the current statloss doesn't mean shit if you have more than 4 reds (most do). the problem is some people (like you @wendy whoppers , and @tap that thang ) just want to log in and shit on others with no regard for the shard or others, and if there is any risk that you wont be able to do that you throw a fit and whine like children who just got told they need to share a toy. Grow up, let your balls drop and realize that you taking a time out every now and then might be good for the shard. especially if you are going to run around telling companions helping youngs that you enjoy targeting youngs. (seriously how is threatening a new to UO player going to help this shard?)

lastly, you guys are way to desperate for attention. its so pathetic that I actually come into these threads just to throw you a bone and make you feel like somebody other than your alt forum accounts actually bothers to read this drivel you guys spew all over the forums every time you lose a fight.

Flube needs to teach you guys how to be winners rather than just whiners.

Not only do i pk, but i also create pvp, collect bods, run vendors, do tmaps/mibs, collect rares, have the 2nd largest statue collection in game (first being WENDY!!), do champion spawns, do harrowers, do rdas, faction, spend countless millions on gold sink/dono vendors etc etc

But yeah, you must be right, we only log in and shit on people then log off....

Sorry, but we're one of the few guilds that does pretty much everything, and are definitely one of the only ones who fights with odds stacked against them as *gasps* a red!!!

I'm willing to bet you're reds aren't feared, probably laughed at, and run deep in zerg.

Lol, so someone puts in millions of gold and months of work, to end up with a meta-pet that has the same skills as a dragon you can buy for 10k. Great, im glad I gave up on training mine, and will probally shelf it from now on, if I dont sell it first. Who wants a dragon that can kill titans fast, but can defend its owner, when it matters... honestly, its not worth the effort.

Better idea, instead of a slight challenge, can the dungeon just be a 7x7 room with instantly respawning stacks of 60k gold piles?

I like the idea of rainbow blood, pink environment, the critters roleplaying with us. I think this is really intuitive, and could really help the community! Maybe there could be 100% Taming SS drop rate critters in there too! I prefer mongbats and rats myself, as they give me the hardest time tbh, and I think they must be level 10 tier mobs, just a thought

Might I suggest adding a bag of sending upon entering this dungeon as well? I think anything else is just to hard

I'm sure if you could give a valid reason as to why pets should be OP in PvP situations, the staff would listen to it.

Because it takes SO MANY hours, and SO MUCH gold... you can't just make a pvp tamer overnight... plus its expensive as hell, to retain max stats on a pet.

i am totally supportive in balancing PvP but by nerfing it , you just screwed all our efforts in one single day !

there are better ways to balance things ...

Nerfing fireball damage was already a major step towards balancing tamers PvP . And that was a good step .

The main problem with pets was the fireball damage ! not the 140 magery ei etc !

what does wendy expect ? dragons doing 1 damage flame strike ?

It already costs about 25 to 50k for skill scrolls, every time your pet dies (which was a nerf.) The reason you don't see Red PVP tamers running around solo in dungeons, is that would be a hell of expensive temp to maintain. So, really its mostly PVM bards that are going to be that much weaker defending from 50k red pks. Its not like there were rampant PVP tamers running around..

I'm not even a tamer and understand what's Adam is saying there's still a huge difference in meta pet and dragon just not when u got try to rape ppl with an insane powered pet. It'll still knock down those monsters asap they just won't shit all over ppl in pvp.
