TMap Hunters... How do you do it?

I have never really tried finding treasure chests until today and it seems like it is a real pain. I got lockpicking up to 95 and cart to around 75 and decoded all maps I have. I grabbed the first plainly drawn one as a test and I can't seem to find the damned thing. I attached a pic that shows the map and the stratics area north of Trinsic. I went to spots 93,93,95 etc... and it keeps saying "you can't mine there (using a shovel and clicking on the ground.

Does anyone have a better method for ID'ng these spots? Or am I just doing it wrong? Thank you.

Edit: Okay, I just realized I need to click the T Map before digging. But are there any programs or methods people use to find the locations quicker? Or is it just guessing if it is 93, 94, 95.. The stratics maps are terrible.

Not all sites are as cramped up with treasurespots as that one. But yeah, a sharp eye and an educated guess is how you do it. With a sextant of course, I dont see one in your pack but I assume you are using one.

A sextant will help but the razer map has one built in also if your standing directly on top i went dig if your still having troubles pm me and when I'm off work ill take you on a hunt give you a general idea

I use uoam its IMO a must for tmapping. No sextant needed. http://download.uosecondage.com/UOAMv9_Install.exe

A lot of the spots in the t-map rune library are not marked dead on thats where UOAM can come in handy.

There is one other option

Click shovel then double click the map.

The best one though is defiantly click map then dig for treasure then ground. reason being you can dig mounted if you do it this way.

Find a rune library with a Tmap section, like the large and popular one between Yew bank and moongate. The library will have runes marked at all possible Tmap locations and identified by number. Decode your map, consult the stratics list (looks to me like you have map 94), and then recall to corresponding location from the Tmap library. You should then be standing one tile away from your chest.

or just single click and select remove.

it only works if the chest is empty. if its not your chest its difficult because you have to go crim to empty the chest. its all just so much easier if everyone removes their chests.

Whoever dug up the treasure can single click and select remove chest to get rid of it. Unfortunately there are many out there who are inconsiderate and leave their chest when they are done.

For the chests left over, you must wait for them to decay(which is a long time) or use the gold sink wand that removes treasure chests. I have never used it, but I hear the wand only removes chests that are totally empty(I'm assuming to keep griefers from removing another players chest before they are done). This means that if the inconsiderate person also left junk like scrolls in the chest, it is there to stay unless you want to go criminal to remove the items.
