Poisoning isn't used a whole lot, and for the investment of 100 skill points, it has limited use and impact. I would like to propose the option of throwing poison potions if the character has an investment in poisoning. The option to throw could be tiered with skill investment (e.g. being able to throw lesser poison would start at 50 points invested). It would essentially be poison casting on the move, which could reduce some of the marathon battles across the map. If the poison fails to hit, just like an explosion potion, the thrower would poison themselves. The timer could be the same as an explosion potion, and only one potion can be counted down (no option to start an explosion potion and poison potion at the same time).
Optional tweaks:
Optional tweaks:
- no casting of spells while preparing to throw poison - This would reduce duel 1v1 impact
- Require alchemy + poisoning to throw - This would eliminate the stun ability with poison throwing
- Increase the counter time for poison - Slow down the poison throws
- Add the option to resist the poison throw, or not be able to resist the poison throw - more people may be inclined to invest in poison if either are associated with the skill.
