Thief got murder count

today i got a murder count. And now, i can`t steal. How long does it take, to be able again, to steal?

I believe its 24 hours. You just have to burn the count off.

It's funny you mention this, I was going to make a post about potentially removing the rule about murderers being unable to join the thieves' guild. Does anyone know what exactly the reasoning behind this was? Was it just a lore thing? I've always found it to be pretty silly and I think UOF could do without it. It just feels unnecessary.

Probably so disarm thiefs don't steal every good weapon in the game.
