terathan warriors, now ratmen are MOTM

not sure how the MOTM selection process works, but these are bad. there's like 10 of these rat men alive at any one time in the world. we're supposed to battle the eqms pk zerghorde and no lifers like Kooch for the same 10 rat men in despise?

lolz kooch was in despise last night.
i guess that makes sense why there are so few of them.

ratman spawn as filler spawn in the wild as well... just to say... i kill more ratman in the woods ( unless aactive champ of course ) than despice :p 100% more


the cloth sells easy 400k+ a yard... plus that spellbook sells like 200k+ lol Terra spawns werent bad either.... there were a good amount of them.... Wait till deamons/drags are back up ( lolz ) you wont farm i bet

I farmed hundreds of terathans last month, they were bad but not like this rat man... ive been running around the world trying to find outdoor spawns of rat men and i cant find any.. i feel like i used to see them everywhere

you need to kill all over world spawn... i had 10 ratman spawn a lot faster than the solo dedicated spawns in despice :p .. you need to clear everything... * boost your chance at a ratman spawning* killing ONLY the ratmen in the wild of course yields LOW ratment spawn chance lol....

its easy if you are not laszy and attacking just the ratmen... put some effort in... EVERY motm sells low to this one :p of course spawns are going to be hardest... thats why the prices of the stuff ratmen drop are that high lol.. think of risk vs reward

The only outdoor ratman spawns I can remember off the top of my head are the Yew peninsulas north of the moongate and a solo spawn north of the hedge maze. I'm certain there are others.

Staff said they took everything into consideration with selection and variety of spawn, number of spawn and location etc.

There's a little something for everyone and action generated in places that otherwise wouldn't see any at all so it seems like a hit for most ppl.

And yes as Dan said many of the overworld spawn are variable, kill everything at the spawns even if you don't see ratmen

thanks for advice on clearing spawns.. I'll try it

but the risk vs reward is a bit off considering you can kill hundreds of MOTM with zero drops, if drops were higher than having only a few ratmen wouldnt be as bad

Ah the ratman motm was my favorite. Farmed ten million worth of items last year. The gronk should have some of my ratman clothing now. Good luck yall.

This happens every year when people get spoiled with ettins and earth elemental MOTM. Then they get back to other spawns that aren't as prevalent and start moaning that they can't get any drops. There are more ratmen spawns than there were last year, they are just not as well known to as many people.

why not change up the MOTM lineup? seems weird its the same mobs every year. only reason I do motm is because it's the only real chance at relics, otherwise i wouldn't bother
