Stuff disappeared when I used deco tool......again.

This happened about a year ago and it cost me a winter bag and a bunch of silver. It happened again last night but I didnt lose anything except a chest. Why @Adam do things randomly disappear when using dexo tool? Ive checked moving crate and everything, its gone. Last year this happened and it was two paragon chests full of crap. I know that stuff was locked down because they were floating. This time they were turned so again, locked down. I have an auction tonight and there is a chest locked down that has millions of gold worth of other peoples stuff ,please tell me what I am doing wrong so I dont lose something kike that.

This happened to me too on a plant the other day, I just kind of shrugged it off. Glad to hear you didnt lose anything valuable!

Happened to my ol lady twice lost a statue and tree I believe she was pissed

Usually, but I too have lost items due to this...
And all I've ever been told is that there's no way to prove it did or didn't happen, there's no way to prove i didn't just unlock it or never locked it down to start with...
Things just...
go poof.

Could have been moving below or above the zaxis of your house/object it is on, making it appear like it was deleted. Page in right away if this happens and it can probably be retrieved.

use control+shift and maybe you'll find it.. the idea of the moving crate's also good.

Is this something they can check indefinitely or only before a save or right after it happens. I would poop if those chests from last year are stuck under there too.
