Macro it in a dungeon hidden. I believe gains are on successes.

I would do spyglasses in a dungeon. They need a higher skill to make then lockpicks and the success chance is lower - faster gain.

lower it by 0,6 and buy 6 skill scrolls.
I scrolled it from 60 to gm, tinkering SS are super cheap.
