Stealth and Max Armor for 100% No Fail

Hi guys, it used to be back in the day that you could stealth in full leather armor with no fail. Experience here shows me that is not the case.

Wondering of anyone can shed light on what the max pieces of leather one can wear to stealth without failing.

I guess the stealth code was changed from original? Is it based on max AR with medable armor?

You can definitely stealth with leather/studded leather gloves. I think you can also add a leather gorget to that as well and continue to succeed. Either way it's not like that 3 AR is going to make a difference so most people don't bother reaching GM stealth.

I think someone on these forums said that it was based on AR. I don't know if it needs to be medable or not, I've been too lazy to test that.

I think I've read that the cap AP one can wear and never fail at Stealthing is 10AP, but I never tested it in game, as I just lock my toons at 80 and go without armor.
