Spirits of Summer?

I'm a few days in of playing again after many years and I've mainly hunting ettins and ogres. Every once in a while one of them is titled; Spirit of Summer. They are tougher and stronger than their normal brethren, but sometimes the loot seems the same. Sometimes it's a little better. Are these just for variety? I've had no "special" drops, maybe a magic item , but that's about it.

On another note, my mage went to Shame, boy that was fun.... Luckily I survived. Once I GM Magery that may be my favorite dungeon. Golden Elementals and Blood Elementals are tough. I need to finish GMing Magery!

Those must be super rare. I've killed more than a half a dozen. I'll keep at it.

I haven't got a Spirit of Summer to drop a chest either. I've scored Paragon chests. Now that I'm actively hunting them I can't seem to find them....

funny....my first one i killed i got one lol. gotten 4 since then but no statues. i dont hunt them on purpose though..just when they pop up somewhere and i know i can kill it

I've killed 8 Spirit of Summer Lich's, and 2 Spirit of Summer Lich Lords, and a handful of random ones (elder gazer, dread spider, etc). I've gotten 1 chest (a really nice light blue), and no statues or anything else. Certainly hard to kill, tons of arrows and time. So 1 chest out of about 14 kills so far. Statue would be sweeeeeeeeeet.

Never gotten a statue, but gotten plenty of chests.
