Actually tht isnt an ETC vendor, it a rent vendor. I have contacted the owner and if it isnt resolved they will be removed.

if it was a scam he would've put a better price on it, like 180-200k, so that someone might've bought it without looking too much.

In my first months on this server i saw a vendor with piles of 1k donos at 145k (they were 180 at the time). I was like hell yeah, i'm gonna buy them all. A couple of them were 1k stacks, others were 100 dono stacks. Lesson learned =D

Just because ETC owns the mall does not mean that every vendor there is owned by ETC.

Furthermore - if you knew the owner of the mall - u would know that he does not condone scams and was unaware that was going on at that precise moment.

Did this really need to be a thread?

Do you think EQMS is more reputable than ETC?

That is the ART of Ultima Online and why this game became a huge hit. MMORPGs in general. You have to know things in order to not getting fooled by other players. By time players will know things, so such "thieves" will just lose their time and have to change their methods.

There are always players, who are better, or more wise than you are.

This is NOT thieves fault. They know what they are doing, so it's only YOUR FAULT! They have done hard work for knowing the prices of certain items.

Pro tip: Do NOT trust anyone. Do your home work.

After all what MagicalMan did to this server and its players I kind of respect him, because he was a true and wise thief. No matter how much I hated him.

For example my 30x30 project:

I was trying to get a 30x30 plot. I had secured every plot near my castle. Tested it by placing the 30x30 at Test Server thanks to eppy.

That 1 pixel of shit just made it harder... but thankfully MagicalMan had some feelings after all by giving up on the small plot. MagicalMan sold that castle to me knowing that 1 pixel thing before. By advertising it as 30x30 potential. But he didn't know it was truly a 30x30 potential.

It took months to get the Magicalman's small plot away and I was even ready to pay for it. Good things happened though.

Just trying to compare that what @PekatronIII experienced here is very little that has happened in the storylones of Britannia.

Lessons learned:

Be patient, if you are a thief.
Be patient in general.
