Death beetles have been said to be better than a level 6 meta dragon without relics. Their DP makes them great for farming. Having said that, metas are definitely better in the long run and that's what you want eventually BUT dragon eggs can be very expensive.
In my quest to find "great beetles", I've gotten many an average beetle. These are not the 900+ HP beetles some people are looking for. They are just regular beetles with average stats and I don't have the heart to bring them "behind the barn". So, save yourself the gold from buying an expensive "high stat" beetle and buy one of these from me.
I'm selling these average DB's for only 25k each. I promise you, you won't even notice the difference between it and a "great" beetle and you'll be farming really good spots in no time.
Save your money for a dragon egg instead!
PS: common questions... they can be transferred at a minimum of 105 animal taming skill. They won't bond until 110 animal taming. Control is best at 115. They eat fruits and vegetables (maybe that's why they are so strong?).
