Except with house linking the teleporters are going to cost per use and it's easier to just use a standard teleporter on the steps if youre houses are side by side.

This spot was cleared when the GMs removed some cheater's houses a few nights ago (they had many many accounts holding plots). I happened to get lucky and placed a keep on it, which I traded to Nekkar. He has since replaced it with 2 18x18's. This spot will be awesome when house linking comes in

Since when do they just clear spots? I thought they let them go Idoc naturally....seems a bit weird to just wipe house spots and items in it.

There were no items, they were all empty plots that had been empty for a long time
