It's how these stories should end. Instead of the loot just rotting away in some house. I'm perfectly happy with buying my armor back. Mostly because I'm out of the letters to make a new one lol

Next time i would advise against using bone armor so you dont have to keep repairing it anytime a mob sneezes on it. With the increased durabiluty decay its not the best material for a long lasting suit.

Dragonscale has normal durability decay and 0 dex loss. If you can afford some dex loss, a mix of chain and ring with good durability mods works well, especially for repond mobs.
