UPDATE: Download the latest EA client from www.uo.com and you will see snow!!!!

I saw a post where @Shane and @Carl and @Alan were looking for how to implement snow into the game. Here is everything I gathered on it:

Not much.. but at least there is a starting point with where it was first implemented with Patch 5.0.7.2

it looks nice, and would be cool to implement i suppose as long as it doesnt interfere with most players gaming experience.

It's not something that can be implemented. This is client based. Also having people download an older client would not be wise since they would fail to see most all of our content. If you would like to see snow you can download the latest EA client from www.uo.com and you will see snow. Every winter they update their client for winter which changes the static and map files.
