oh dude, clearly it's an oversight. Product only of the normal mechanics regarding spellbooks. I really doubt this was done on purpose.

They should be stealable. They are set to normal looting rights unless there is an override in the steal code.

Only kind of? Especially if the means in which to recharge them is also made by scribes. There will still be a market though because they can be looted. Slayer weapons are unlimited use and people still buy them like crazy because the lose them to PKs.

I wouldn't say that they are unlimited. I could lower the uses and require a 120 scribe to repair them at a scribe shop but that seems worse to me.

The chief complaint that i got about slayer books was that they were crazy op with a talisman and that it wasnt fair to everyone else who had no way of getting them. Now you are saying that slayer books dont do any more damage than a regular book. I am confused to say the least.

you can equip the empty slayer spell book, and keep your normal full spellbook in your bag, and still cast but get the slayer benefits
