It's a good point. If it takes too much time to craft slayer armor then the price will be high, how high is what remains to be seen.
IMO the more difficult it is to obtain gear in a setting where if you die you can lose it, it should be relatively easy to obtain gear. But who knows i think it's a bit difficult to say if slayer gear is un-worth it. It'll depend on its performance and just how difficult it'll be to make it.
