Coming from someone who doesnt use pets for PVP. My pets were 7x. They are now nowhere close to 7x and will not be anytime soon. Have you done an RDA lately? What about a champ spawn? You wont see tamers at champ spawns. You barely saw them at champ spawns before the skill loss implementation. I actually feel the pet skill loss was a good change. Maybe even a a gold sink for pet skill increase eh?

Along the lines of this idea, what if using skill scrolls on pets required a book before you can do it (similar to the stonecrafting, glassblowing, and sand mining books)? That way a tamer would have to be at 100 skill, then find the book (which could be vendor-bought for a gold sink or dropped as a rare) before they could train their pets in this way

How about you can buy a deed from the gold sink vendor that transforms regular skill scrolls into pet skill scrolls? This would create a market for skill scrolls and also eliminate some of the excess gold floating around in people's bank accounts.
