Skill Scroll Drops

Hey guys! I have a question about skill scrolls. Well a couple.

First of all, I spent two weeks on my provo mage farming gold, mostly high end mobs. I seemed to get a +1 skill scroll about 1/10 mobs. I am not exaggerating, this was a good idea of what I was getting. Now, starting a few days ago I switched to my archer provo with slayer bows, and the drops have slowed down dramatically. No it's about 1/100 mobs. Is it because I am using slayer bows? Perhaps the admins have altered the spawn rates? I have noticed a definite change in the drop rates for myself and am wondering what is going on? I am killing the same mobs in the same places at the same times of day, getting pked by the same people, and looting the same amounts of gold and weps, but the skill scroll drop has changed!!

They may have reduced the drop rate due to the fact that the server is flooded with them. All I can say is your guess is as good as ours and there has been no mention of this by the GM's that I have seen.

And it's also possible but not probable that you got lucky with the drop rates. Maybe the server didn't get laid the last couple days and is pissed.

HAha I have considered this. Lets bring some rough numbers to light. In my first four days of hunting on this server I found roughly 25 skill scrolls. Mainly off of higherend mobs, which seemed to drop them about 1/4 of the time. The four days following this session I have found about 4 skill scrolls, and killed about 5x as many mobs. These numbers suggest a change in drop rates. Nothing more I can say.

This is definitely not a complaint thread. I am just curious, because drop rates will effect price and I am currently liquidating.
