Do you experience diminishing skill gains as you get higher in skills on this server?
Ex: would I gain alchemy less fast as a fourth skill instead of a first?
This would also allow me to max skills at 700 and do stats first so I would have more mana for magery/resist.

as far as i know skills do not slow down closer to overall skillcap

That really is a game changer. You can build a whole char and add the last harder skills at the end? Really changed how you have to build chars.

I found the answer to this on the FAQ section at uoforever.com:

• Will my skill gain slow down as i near my 700 point skill cap?
  No, the skill points totalled will not effect gain rates.
