This is a very attractive grass castle located just two screens below the Ice White Castle On Marble Island. This castle is located on the peninsula just south of that location and its features include:

No spawn
Surrounded by water on both sides. Only one tile of space exists on both the right and left side of the castle due to ocean.
This castle plot was placed by me several months ago. There are no runes marked by a holes!~
No front of castle blockage by other houses.
Very close swamp spawn that includes: terathan avengers and matriarchs (scroll dropping). Spined leather from alligators & lizardmen.

A very isolated and beautiful location. Please contact me with serious interest or post a bid on the forum post itself! TY! UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!! I am going to place a S/B on this Castle of 14M with a B/O of 17M. The only reason I am selling this is due to moving into a new castle that I had coveted for some time. Due to many private messages of interest, a starting bid and buy out were asked to be placed on this Ocean Front property. With the upcoming expansion this looks to be the ultimate fortress or kingdom for someone to station their Guild Charter or Pirate's Headquarters!! Happy Bidding!

I paid 15M for my new one, and just to let you know Kiki I sold one on ice about 2 months ago for 7M. This is twice the castle that one was, and with no spawn

I was gonna bid on this ;-( But 14m is just way too much for this castle. Good luck though! I would be curious if any of these PM's you received, turned into bids.

I like to monitor the market, can you post or PM me a pic of the castle you paid 15 mill for? Because so far that is the highest amount paid for a castle on this shard. And I am curious how good of a location 15m gets you.

funny story Asan, I posted on forums for over a month buying castle on grass paying 15M and never got one, and this was about 3 months ago. its really a sellers market because not always do grass castles come up for sale, and when they do , they usually don't compare to this location. typically grass castles have sold around here for 12M ish, but this location is better than most, I am not hurting for cash in away way and if this amount is not met theres no problem in keeping the property.

One thing I'm not getting, is that you moved from this place into a better castle, yet you're expecting this place to sell for the same or more?

Not trolling MB, as you know like Asan, I have also sold one or two houses in my day and like to monitor the market.

It could very well be because I have had a couple of hot buttered rums here, but I'm not seeing the logic.

It is a buyers market because the few people who can afford a castle that don't already have one, more or less dictate the price. Personally I put this location on par with most grass castles. The front yard is swamp after all. I'd personally consider it average, being why I think 14m is high. No point in arguing though, people always value their own stuff higher. But, for your sake I do hope I'm wrong. But I guess we will both find out together whether this is a 14m castle or not ;-)

Anywho, what castle did you pay 15m for?

Ahh ok, yeah THAT is a nice castle. Which is kind of proof positive that this one is not worth 14.. if that one is worth 15. hehe.

all im saying guys, is that any grass castle is worth about 12m, this one beats the dog nuts off that one, and thanks to help from johnny killroy, I was fortunate enough to place it. Ive seen castles with terrible front yard blockage, congested by housing everywhere, go for 11 or 12M. This one has no spawn, but a close spawn for unseful things. The swamp gives my castle flavor because its not in the swamp and is not affected. The spawn for swamp really begins about 1 full screen from the front. And it has an incredibly neat reaper spawn on this peninsula which makes it neat, spawns behind the castle. I understand you don't like its value, but I think I got a GOOD price for 15M on that skara castle. This one is also a nice location. Which is why I would take 14M for it. The buyout is just set in case two parties become interested.

I mean lets be honest, Ive even seen Keeps selling in the 8M range lately. I think you underestimate how much wealth people have acquired, because standard grass castle 12M prices have been evident for about 5 months now.

I think what meridian blade is saying is fair lets face it 18x18s have gone from 700k to now all of a sudden 1.4mi they have doubled in price in the last few months why would you expect a castle that sold for 12 mil months ago to still be worth 12 mil today. Another great argument is now normal keeps are 5-7mil which again has jumped alot as of late and being that castles dont come up a ton i think its fair to guess they would inflate in price as all the rest of housing has

How about we just call it a...market. Nobody runs the show one way or another, buyers or sellers, because only a handful of people own castles and only a handful of people want castles. It just comes down to each transaction.

I've noticed prices fluxuate wildly between comparable houses because this server is still finding itself (people holding too many accts/plots, fluxuation of the quality of homes available due to IDOCs/bannings and plot consolidation, server population fluxuation in general, fucking ABSURD inflation in recent months) so there's a lot going on just as with any young server.

18x18's and prime location homes have doubled in value in the past couple months. If the naysayers in this thread are to be believed castles have increased in value a whopping 25%. Like...max 25%.

Looks like I'm going to be the proud owner of a new castle I didn't even want. But hey somebody's gotta appreciate it, right?
