Sallos Update

Sallos has received a small update:

-Sallos will no longer block you after x amount of steps while stealthing.
-Sallos will now show mounts such as the rideable wolf, hiryu and charger of the fallen.
-The sallos static files have been updated. The docks have been turned into a static to reduce lag in that area.

Here is a link to our sallos downloads. The updates are located in data.zip. Just paste it over your old data folder. The statics updates are located in staidx0.zip and statics0.zip and need to be pasted in your Ultima Online folder.

Correct.

Step 1: Download data.zip extract and replace into Sallos folder over already existing data folder.

Step 2: Download staidx0.zip & statics0.zip, extract and replace these into the main Ultima Online directory. i.e ( C:/Program Files/Electronic Arts/Ultima Online Classic )

Step 3: Get back to playing.

Wait. Is this a full install of Sallos or just a patch? There really doesn't seem like a lot of stuff in Sallos.zip

That error means that you probably have another client open that has locked that file. You'll need to close any classic client before running sallos.

You'll also need to put the data.zip folder over the one in sallos.zip as I haven't updated sallos.zip yet.

First, awesome stuff, especially the stealth one.

Second, if I use these files will it mess with my cave house at all?

It shouldn't. This is the altered statics file provided by Jamie with an update. If you are currently using that already, than you should be fine. I'd back the files up just in case though. If it does mess with it, I'll be happy to update that file for you. I sometimes mix files up as there is a lot to keep track of.

I think a lot of the art file updates that Jamie added are not included with these files. Still riding ogres and pink water too.

So I can see everything fine in the Cave House, BUT I can't recall to it (says location blocked) and I can't actually move on any of the tiles surrounding the house.
