Do runics in general increase chance at getting slayers or super slayers ? And if so does it matter which one

Same chance as far as I can tell, and the only difference is that they come pre-identified and get the runic modifiers in addition to the slayers.

I made over 100 shadow katanas and didnt get a single slayer, so eh.

What u mean pre id'd and modifers?

And yes ive read in a couple post that people feel like getting slayers the % chancr has been decreased significantly , which i dont see why nor do i see a patch showing it so maybe it happened secretly?

Pre id'd meaning you don't have to identify them, it just tells you. Modifiers being might/ruin etc, depending on what tunic hammer you are using

I recently acquired a runic hammer so decided to make weapons with it for my dude. The whole hammer used up, not a single magical weapon. Is there more to it than just smithing it? Do you have to be in the crafters guild for it to work? Do the items need to be made of the same material as the hammer? I see no information on this, and it seems like a worthless reward if the success rate is basically 0.

Thank you -- tried with a different hammer and 100% success. Thought it would be more random though.
