Ridable wolves?

Hi I am showing my daughter (8) how to play UO. I explained how rough the game can be before we started but I don't think she was ready to lose her ridable wolf (i know).

She logged in and was a ghost in the middle of Brit. So of course her wolf mount is gone. Where do they spawn so I can tame and give her one?

It is pretty amazing sharing the games I enjoyed playing. About six months ago she goes, "dad I'm a gamer girl!" I melted a bit. I got her a world of warcraft account but she HATES questing.

I have tried so many mmo games and I just keep coming back to UO lol

Nothing I have played has come close to catching the spirit of this game.
