Revise Poker System

Here are my suggestions to make the poker system more user accessible and fun to use. Some of these suggestions are fixes for bugs some are wishful thinking. Post below if you agree, disagree, have ideas to add on.

  1. New players joining the table will sit out until the next big blind reaches them.
  2. GUMP to show Winner's hand after hand is over as well as any other players hands that were shown during showdown
  3. Option to sit out for 1 blind to take a quick break from playing. (if you miss next blind it kicks you off table)
  4. A more obvious graphic for the dealer, small, and big blinds. (think a circular D, S, and B)
  5. A graphic countdown timer till you auto fold. 30 sec countdown above player head for instance or a progress bar with a number beside it
  6. Option to allow spectators to view action on table. Add a new button next to the buy in button that says spectate.
  7. Add an "All in button" to betting. This would make it easier for players to go all in (@Slick Brick)

I'd suggest having different tables with different buyins/bet limits. Current one is kind of high roller, and people with big bank rolls regularly bully any small guys off the table with huge bets. That's fine for the big table, but one of the small ones should serve folks who just want to play some cards. IMO.

Well we have a small table with 1k/2k blinds near the bridge. Do you mean an even smaller one with like 100/200gp blinds?

Really more talking about max bids. I played a bit yesterday, but at 25k buy in, and people pushing 10k bids like crazy it prices new players out of the game. Personally happy to not win as much cash if it means I don't have to get bullied off the table on every hand. Not uncommon to see 10k bids before the flop, which is just crazy. Just a thought.

Player could have been on tilt. Overbetting is usually a sign on having nothing or being pissed off and making bad decisions (tilt)

Its a 200000 gold table and 10k is only 10x bb bet... You are the one choosing to go in at min buy-in and just like tables IRL you're at a disadvantage being on the short stack...

So either play tight or shove and pray... I regularly buyin for min and leave with 150k+ just have to learn how they're playing and pick your spots!
